A hand-forged iron tealight holder in a sculptural, Brutalist form.
Four broad iron bands curve up from a splayed, four-footed base and open outward like the petals of a tulip. A small round cup in the centre holds a standard tealight, and the flame glows between the curved bands. The iron is dark and matte with a hammered, slightly uneven surface, and the tips of the petals are roughly cut, which gives it a raw, handmade character. Lit, it throws a warm, shifting light across the table.
It works as a single piece on a dining table, shelf or windowsill, or in a group of several for a more sculptural effect.
