Blue Hour Objects — Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply to all orders placed through the Blue Hour Objects online store. By placing an order, you accept them. How we handle your personal information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.

Business details
Blue Hour Objects is a sole proprietorship registered in Denmark, at Sæddervej 27, 4682 Sædder. Our CVR number is 46698843. All correspondence and inquiries can be directed to info@bluehourobjects.com.

Pricing and payment
All prices on our website are set in Danish kroner (DKK). Depending on your location or selection, prices may be displayed and charged in another currency, converted at the exchange rate applied at checkout. The price and currency shown at checkout are the amount you pay. All prices include applicable VAT. We accept payment via the options displayed at checkout. Payment is due at the time of order.

For deliveries outside the EU, import duties, taxes and customs fees may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer, unless they are collected at checkout.

Delivery
Orders are usually dispatched within 2–5 working days; delivery times may vary depending on the shipping destination and carrier. In the rare case an item is out of stock or unavailable after purchase, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or a suitable alternative.

Product condition
All items sold by Blue Hour Objects are vintage or antique and are sold in used condition, reflecting their age and history. Signs of wear, such as scratches, patina, fading, or imperfections consistent with the item’s age, are to be expected and do not constitute a defect. Each item’s condition is described and photographed as accurately as possible prior to sale. Please review the listing details and images carefully before purchasing. If an item arrives significantly different from its description, please contact us so we can find a solution.

Returns and refunds
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. The cost of return shipping is borne by you, unless the item is faulty or differs significantly from its description. Full details on withdrawal, returns, refunds and the standard withdrawal form are set out in our Return and Refund Policy, available on this website.

Attribution and descriptions
All descriptions of age, origin, maker, and materials are provided in good faith and represent our best professional estimate based on available research and experience. Attributions to a specific maker, designer, or period are expert opinions rather than certified guarantees. Buyers are encouraged to review photographs and descriptions carefully before purchasing. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Transit damage or loss
If an item arrives damaged, or your order does not arrive, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days of delivery, at info@bluehourobjects.com. Please include photographs of the item and its packaging, and keep the packaging until the matter is resolved. Prompt reporting helps us handle claims with the carrier quickly. We will then work with you to agree on a suitable solution, which may include a repair, partial refund, replacement, or full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Liability
Blue Hour Objects is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of purchased items. Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Force majeure
Blue Hour Objects is not liable for delays or failure to fulfil orders due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to customs delays, postal or courier strikes, and other unforeseen disruptions.

Complaints
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us first at info@bluehourobjects.com so we can try to resolve the matter. If we cannot reach a solution, you may submit a complaint to Nævnenes Hus (the Danish consumer complaints board) via naevneneshus.dk. Consumers residing in another EU country may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country.

Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, available on this website.

Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts. If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
